Francophone Mobilitie
A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document that an employer in Canada is required to receive prior to hiring a foreign worker. When a Canadian employer is seeking to hire a foreign worker, it must first be determined if an LMIA is needed or if the position is LMIA-exempt before applying for a work permit.
The Atlantic Immigration Program is a federal immigration program that helps employers recruit skilled foreign workers and international graduates to meet labour needs.
Through the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP), prospective immigrants who have the skills and experience targeted by Nova Scotia may be nominated to immigrate.
The Francophone mobility work permit makes it easier for Canadian employers to hire you without a labour market impact assessment, if you meet certain requirements and you are destined to live and work outside the province of Quebec.
