Work Global Canada Inc. is the vision of Paul Shelley. Having served in the Newfoundland and Labrador cabinet as Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Recreation and Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment Paul saw a need for labour shortage solutions throughout the province.

Incorporated in 2012 our passion has grown from a small core group into a dedicated team of professionals at our corporate office in St. John’s. We work with licensed Immigration Consultants, and a team of regional Operational Managers, Business Development & Sale agents in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Wanda Cuff Young, VP of Operations, has accumulated over 25 years of extensive professional experience, including approximately 20 years’ involvement in the marketing, business strategy, funding procurement, and management consulting industries.

Wanda is an award-winning Entrepreneur, accomplished business owner, and an active member of several communities and industry associations. Her accomplished history within these industry and labor markets, alongside a developed network of associates, motivates leadership and provides key strategic direction through the day to day business operations.

Ashley Thompson, Graduate of Dawson College, Montreal, QC, is our Marketing/ Recruitment Assistant and Francophone Coordinator. Ashley coordinates and provides translation interviews during our skill matching and interview processing. She also provides digital translation services to our marketing and communication materials.

Dandan Liang
Researcher – Chinese Markets, Translation

Dandan Liang, has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) /Business Management (Marketing), is our international liaison to China and Asia.

Dandan will integrate and communicate ethical marketing strategies and tactics for application to Chinese applicants, employers, and business investors. She also provides marketing, research analytics, and translation services (Cantonese and Mandarin) dedicated to our Chinese clientele.

Darrell Heath
Internal Media Coordinator

Darrell Heath has a Diploma in Information Technology (Graduate Program) and handles our organization’s information technology infrastructure and the team members who use it.

Darrell coordinates, designs, and implements all internal media, marketing, branding, data inventory, social media, and communications. He also coordinates with key national representatives, international advisors, and communicates to industry shareholder’s relevant developments or changes in our services.

Yvonne Myers
Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant

Yvonne Myers is our in-house Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a member in good standing with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).  Yvonne has been an Immigration Advisor and Consultant with Memorial University for the past three years. A thirty-five-year career with Service Canada, an accomplished Business Expertise Consultant, and her Immigration Consultant role provides extensive experience and success in advising clients through the intricate Canadian immigration process.

James Rosario
Manager, Administrative Services

James Rosario holds many multi-disciplines including Master of Science in International Business, a Diploma in Applied Ethics, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and various training and professional certifications in financial management, customer service, human resources, strategic planning, sales, and marketing. James provides administrative and associative services and support to client’s regulatory application processes (Work Permit, LMIA), the offer of employment records, The Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Employer Portal management, credential and document verification.

Catherine R. Gellidon
Manager, Recruitment & Operations

Catherine R. Gellidon, holds an Immigration Consultancy Diploma, a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Economics, a Human Resource Management Diploma, and has over twenty-five years of international Human Resource Management, Consultancy, and Director experience.

Catherine is skilled in Human Resource Strategic Planning and Implementation and plays a vital role in our Domestic and International Recruitment Strategy & Operations as she attracts and matches skilled candidates for our employer client base.

Foreign Credentials Recognition Manager

Arthur Leung, P.ENG has extensive experience in senior management positions with the Department of Advanced Education and Skills & with the Department of Education, Government of NL. In this capacity Mr. Leung provided senior leadership, funds procurement, managed multiple regional offices, managed annual multi-million-dollar training budgets, engaged with industry stakeholders & institutions, and insured operational compliancy with the governing policies. A key component to his role throughout his career was to manage and ensure requirements were met for all apprenticeship and skilled trades training and certification of programs.

Mr. Leung will provide Strategic Business Development, Program Development and Marketing, and Foreign Credentials Recognition consultancy to our clients.

Gail Adams
Representative, Atlantic Canada

Gail Adams is our Business Development representative for the Maritimes. Gail’s role, to create long-term value for Maritime businesses struggling to find committed employees, is an important one for any company planning for growth in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or New Brunswick. She assists companies needing longer term employees, helping them find qualified and committed workers, by engaging companies with Working Global Canada Inc. services.

Through the client’s discovery process, Gail assists clients to build viable human resource solutions for their company using Canadian immigration programs. In addition to her ability to assist the client to fully define their human resource needs, her understanding of key industry markets and private business, allows her to build a quick and professional rapport with clients, maintaining relationships with them beyond the hiring process.

Amanda Gellman
Representative, Central Canada

Amanda Gellman works with the private and public sector to create manan, or “new beginnings and opportunities”. Her clients are in diverse sectors, including film, manufacturing, social services, education, agriculture, community development and more. She has worked extensively in the US and Canada and has also helped businesses and non-profits around the globe.

Amanda is well versed in all facets of marketing as well as private sector and government fund development – and a highly successful proposal writer, skilled trainer and experienced meeting facilitator. True to her east coast roots, Amanda is a “people person” who understands that brand identity is about building a good team as well as getting others to believe in your value proposition and engaged in cross promoting your key messages.

Igor Siljanoski
Representative, Central Canada

Igor Siljanoski, Ph.D., has more than 15 years of professional experience as a policy and communications professional with more than 12 years in the position of the Manager of Policy for the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Igor started his career as a settlement coordinator in the non-profit sector, continuing as a Business Planning Consultant for the Ontario Ministry of Public Safety, an Economist for the Ministry of Finance and as a Business Consultant for the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. Igor is an Economics Instructor for St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Sciences and a Business Development Partner at Manan Strategy Consultants since 2008.Igor’s expertise spans several management areas, including business, financial and strategic planning, policy development, advocacy, public and government relations. Igor has a demonstrated ability to analyze complex business related issues applicable to business development, expansion, new international markets and new venture opportunities. Over his fifteen-year career, Igor has established and maintained effective professional and working relationships with various organizations and community stakeholders and he has developed superior communication and facilitation skills.
