The community of St. John’s has all the right resources for you. Our community has organizations that provide courses, both free and paid, to help you improve your ability to communicate in English and pass that seemingly daunting English exam.

The Association for New Canadians

The Association for New Canadians offers English courses for a fee.

  • Part Time – 10-15 hours/week – $300.00/month
  • Full Time – 20-25 hours/week – $500.00/month

Memorial University – English as a Second Language Program

12-week Intensive English Program (English for Academic Purposes) three times per year and a 5-week English Language Summer School each July. English for Special Purposes and custom-designed courses are also offered for groups.
