We are currently seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Francophone Coordinator – Recruitment (Human Resources) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support the recruitment of French- and English-speaking (bilingual) candidates and assist employers with their workforce recruitment needs.

Job Overview
As a Francophone Coordinator – Recruitment, you will be responsible for coordinating recruitment activities focused on French- and English-speaking (bilingual) candidates, supporting employers with recruitment initiatives, communicating with Francophone applicants, and assisting with candidate screening, interviews, documentation, and onboarding.

The position requires French and English communication skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced recruitment environment.

Key Responsibilities
Francophone Recruitment

  • Identify, source, and pre-screen qualified Francophone candidates who meet employer-specific job requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a database of Francophone candidates.
  • Review resumes and applications from French-speaking applicants.
  • Conduct initial candidate screening and pre-qualification.
  • Communicate with candidates in French and English throughout the recruitment process.
  • Explain job duties, qualifications, employment conditions, and recruitment requirements to candidates.
  • Maintain regular communication and follow-up with candidates.
  • Identify qualified candidates for employer consideration and endorsement.

Employer & Recruitment Coordination

  • Assist employers with recruitment requirements for French- and English-speaking (bilingual) positions.
  • Review employer job requirements and identify suitable Francophone candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews between employers and candidates.
  • Prepare candidates for employer interviews.
  • Follow up with employers regarding interview results and candidate selection.
  • Communicate recruitment updates to employers and internal teams.
  • Assist with employer-specific recruitment projects and staffing requirements.

Recruitment Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain candidate profiles, resumes, screening notes, and recruitment documentation.
  • Verify candidate credentials and supporting documents.
  • Organize, scan, upload, and maintain recruitment files.
  • Maintain accurate candidate information in recruitment databases.
  • Ensure recruitment records are complete and up to date.
  • Assist with preparing job offers and employment-related documentation.

Immigration & Recruitment Support

  • Assist with recruitment activities related to the Francophone Mobility Program pathway.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of Job Vacancy Assessment (JVA) and Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) requirements.
  • Assist with employer endorsement and candidate documentation.
  • Coordinate with immigration and recruitment teams when additional documentation or clarification is required.
  • Ensure recruitment activities follow company procedures and applicable requirements.

Candidate Communication & Support

  • Provide professional communication and assistance to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries through telephone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Provide recruitment updates and follow up on outstanding documents.
  • Assist candidates in understanding employment requirements and recruitment procedures.
  • Provide French-language support to Francophone candidates when required.

Recruitment Marketing & Outreach

  • Assist with sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and other recruitment channels.
  • Support Francophone recruitment campaigns and outreach initiatives.
  • Participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and community activities targeting French- and English-speaking (bilingual) candidates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Francophone communities, organizations, educational institutions, and recruitment networks.

HR & Administrative Support

  • Assist the HR team with recruitment and human resources administrative tasks.
  • Maintain organized electronic and manual filing systems.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and updates for management.
  • Assist with employee onboarding activities when required.
  • Support training coordination and other HR initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in:
  • Human Resources Management
  • Business Administration
  • Recruitment
  • Communications
  • Related field

Experience

  • 2 to less than 3 years of experience in recruitment, human resources, customer service, administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience recruiting or working with Francophone candidates is an asset.
  • Experience in international recruitment or immigration-related recruitment is an asset.

Language Requirements

Know how to speak in French – is a plus
Strong English communication skills – required
Ability to communicate professionally in both French and English with candidates, employers, and internal departments.
